PERSONNEL
The staff at Montana Northwest Company has over 95 years of combined experience in professional surveying, CADD drafting, GIS mapping, land use planning, subdivision review, zoning, sanitation design, land use permitting and expert witness services. In addition to the featured personnel, Montana Northwest Company has enough support staff and equipment to simultaneously field as many as five fully equipped survey crews.
Kenneth Jenkins, Professional Land Surveyor
Founder and President Ken Jenkins received his training and career experience in Western Montana. He has more than thirty years of experience in land surveying, route surveying, land use planning, mapping and consulting. Ken opened Montana Northwest Company in 2002, committed to providing quality professional surveying and associated services. Ken is a licensed Professional Land Surveyor in Montana and Idaho.

Ken has managed and supervised projects for private, corporate and government agencies. Clients include the US Forest Service, Montana Department of Transportation, US Fish and Wildlife Services, US Environmental Protection Agency, Federal Highway Administration, US Army Corps of Engineers, Bonneville Power Administration and hundreds of private sector clients.

Jenkins is a member and Past President of the Montana Association of Professional Land Surveyors. He served on the Montana Land Information Advisory Council. Ken currently serves on the Government Affairs committee of the Missoula Organization of Realtors and the Missoula Building Industry Association.

Louise Adams, Professional Land Surveyor
Ms. Adams joined Montana Northwest Company in June of 2005 with a strong background in surveying, engineering technologies, drafting and GIS. Her formal education includes degrees in Geography and Surveying. Louise's experience includes floodplain development mapping projects, cadastral, mapping and engineering design surveys, field testing and environmental site planning. Louise is adept with both conventional and GPS survey instruments. She can serve as a Field Survey Crew Chief or assist in the management of office activities including data management, records preparation, design and drafting. In addition to her surveying and drafting experience, Louise is a certified site evaluator and prepares land development projects and land division for review by the Montana Department of Environmental Quality. She also performs required field testing and document preparation required for county septic permits.

Ms. Adams is a Professional Land Surveyor and a member of the Montana Association of Professional Land Surveyors

Travis Williams, GIS/Survey CrewChief, Licensed Survey Intern
Mr. Williams joined Montana Northwest Company in 2006 with formal education degrees in Pre-Engineering, Geography-GIS (U.M. - B.S.) and Surveying (U.WY - A.A.S.) Mr. Williams has served as Survey Crew Chief, instrument operator and GIS specialist on a variety of surveying, mapping and GIS projects throughout Montana and Idaho. His diverse educational and work history provides a well rounded experience beneficial to many aspects of surveying, mapping and GIS applications.

Travis is a proficient survey crew chief with a wealth of experience in cadastral and boundary surveys; private and public land development projects; topographic mapping; aerial mapping control and Geodetic Control for GIS. He has worked with a wide range of clientele, including Federal Highway Administration, USDA-Forest Service, US Army Corps of Engineers, Plum Creek as well as many private sector clients.

Mr. Williams has a strong background in computers, software and geography related applications and built an interactive map GIS on which Montana Northwest Company archives and tracks all projects. Mr. Williams has working knowledge of Trimble and ESRI software modules. He is an active member of the Montana Association of Professional Land Surveyors.

Keith Brandt, Survey Crew Chief
Mr. Brandt joined Montana Northwest Company in 2008 and serves as a survey crew chief on a variety of projects. His formal education (Montana State University, B.S. 1999) focused on landscape design with emphasis on landscape architecture, site development, surveying and mapping. Prior work history includes carpentry, general construction and several years as a forestry tech. with the Kootenai National Forest, Rexford District. Mr. Brandt has a wealth of experience in cadastral boundary surveying and has been established in dozens of miles of boundary, and recovered literally hundreds of PLSS corners and property corners.

Kristen Fitzpatrick, Office Manager, HR
Mrs. Fitzpatrick joined Montana Northwest Company in February 2011 and brings a wealth of organizational, human resources and office management experience. Her formal education includes Business Administration and Accounting from the U of M. Kristen provides Montana Northwest Company with valuable experience in the effective time and cost management of projects. Kristen is an active member of the Bonner School PTA having held several positions, and most recently PTA President.
